The Question

"And what would you do," the Master said unto the multitude, "if God spoke directly to your face and said, "I COMMAND THAT YOU BE HAPPY IN THE WORLD, AS LONG AS YOU LIVE." What would you do then?"

Wow. I was cleaning up my "watched topics" list on b2evolution's forums and came across this hack, and came back. I've no idea why I got the ? flag. It should have been US. Hm!

Which reminds me, I had once the Tor network installed, just for disclosing information like this. This message and login is with the Tor enabled so there will be another place of origine or no place of origin at all, like Edb's.

What could you do if the database gets it completely wrong and I start complaining?

But we'll see.

I'm in the nation-state of denial. I wonder what flag I'll get?

Interesting project and deployment.

My only complaint with the method is that it's an 3rd-party DB lookup AND flag image retrieval for EVERY comment flag. (Overlooking DB errors -don't know how accurate the DB is- what happens when their server is down and/or overloaded?)

We've done something similar, utilizing a free country DB (updated monthly), which moves both the lookup and the flag image retrieval onto our host server. (Mind you ... it IS limited to country only).

Otherwise, v.cool! Glad you got it working.

Cheers,
