In my mind there is not a difference between the non-sexual virgin and the sexual virgin. Some women choose to stay virginal all their lives meaning "purely" on to themselves never making a commitment to share themselves with someone else. This is not the typical modern view of course. But the truest sense of the origins of the word. Think of the meaning of virgin wool that has nothing to do with sheep who have never had sex.:-)

Hi Moonchild~
Your blog is just beautiful. I've enjoyed reading your take on the cards.
We are almost done with the swords now this is a pretty harsh suit. Wands will bring healing. I look forward to your commentary on the other suits.
I have been directing people to your blog. There is also a study group on Aeclectic Tarot that I have been directing people to as well. I hope you are enjoying MAAT.
Thanks for all your work,
Julie

Fire extracts the metal from the rock, then fire softens the metal to make
it soft enough to be shaped tranforming the metal into a tool or a weapon. The sword like fire can save or kill. A knife can cut food and the fire can cook it. The knife can cut your finger and the fire can burn it.
The ax can cut the wood and the fire will burn it and keep you warm.
Fire transforms matter. Metal tools transformed humans.

When the warm colors of the changing leaves turn the hillside to the colors of the flames, it is time to use the blade to cut and harvest crops.
